PBAT advantages :

1. PBAT is a thermoplastic biodegradable plastic. It is a copolymer of butylene adipate and butylene terephthalate. It has both the characteristics of PBA and PBT. It has not only good ductility and elongation at break, but also Good heat resistance and impact performance; in addition, it also has excellent biodegradability, which is very active in the research of biodegradable plastics and one of the best degradable materials for market applications.

Processing guide : 

1. PBAT is not suitable for direct film blowing,it is suggested to add slip additive liked SiO2 or CaCO3, it can also be blended with starch, PLA, PHA, cellulous etc.Normally the extrusion temperature is 140 ~170℃which depends on formula and processing machine, it is important to make sure the blowing machine starts from the lowest temperature. If the blowing performance is not optimized it is recommended to increase the temperature by 5℃.

2. PBAT modified composite particles, usedfor film blowing process is very similar to LDPE, can be blown film with LDPEmachinery and equipment.
